COUNCIL FOR THE INDIAN SCHOOL CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION (CISCE)


The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate with the assistance of the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act No. XXI of 1860.

It is an examination conducted by the council for the Indian certificate of secondary education. It is a private non governmental board of education in India for class 10th

It is designed to fulfill the recommendation of education policy 1986.
