On the first day of the academic year, your child should have completed five (5) years plus for admission into Standard 1.

Admissions are granted on 2 key factors collectively, one is compliance to the minimum age criteria and second, the child MUST pass the admission aptitude test for the desired class. Even if the child is eligible for a higher class by age, the result of the aptitude test would be final in deciding the class in which the child gets admitted.

Parents are requested to download registration form from the Mussoorie international School website.

Parents are further requested to send the filled-up registration form along with registration fee to the school on the following address.

At MIS , we do allow mid-year admissions based on the vacancy in each class. MIS teachers assess and monitor individual student performance and administer what is called, “Special Attention Classes” to help the child cope with rest of the class.

If your child comes from any other international school mid-session, generally the child continues in the same standard or grade in which he/she was studying at the other international school. If your child has completed a particular standard/grade at the international school, then the child would join in the next grade.

Your child would be able to smoothly integrate at MIS and will be at home within the first week of her start at MIS. Our Principal, teachers & inchrges are committed & support the child every step of the way.
