MIS The Best girls Boarding School
“Until you experience the atmosphere of an all-girls classroom, it is hard to understand how beneficial it is.” – The Atlantic
The decision of where to educate your daughter is an important one; arguably one of the most important decisions you will make on behalf of your child.
A study conducted by Tiffani Riggers-Piehl, in collaboration with the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI), identified over 80 statistically significant differences between all-girls school and co-educated graduates. The data gathered shows that all-girls school graduates in our girls boarding school:
- Have a stronger academic skill
- Are more academically engaged
- Demonstrate higher science self-confidence
- Display higher levels of cultural competency
- Express stronger community involvement
- Exhibit increased political engagement
AT MIS EVERY GIRL THRIVES….
Culture of strong academic achievement We work towards creating a strong academic environment with an education that lays focus not only on teaching but also helping them understand. The pedagogy is competent, contemporary, and nurturing.
High Engagement with STEM Girls in single-sex schools are much better at STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). They have much more favourable attitudes towards STEM-related subjects, are more confident, and are more likely to engage in higher-level mathematics, chemistry and physics.
Positive Self-Image MIS girls are better able to develop a positive self-image with less fear of ridicule and are more likely to consider a wider variety of career choices.
Enhanced Self-Esteem and Well-Being
Self-esteem and wellbeing in an all-girls’ school environment are enhanced. She is more likely to engage in a wider array of sporting activities, including sports traditionally & stereotypically considered masculine.
